Our mission at Marla Walker Interiors is to create beautiful, enduring interiors that reflect our clients’ everyday lives, resulting in happy, authentic, well-planned homes. Our work ranges from new construction to historic renovations to discrete decorating projects.

A childhood spent shuttling between the California redwoods and the deep South, Walker is influenced by both earthy, casual minimalism and a playful approach to color and pattern. She earned a M.Ed. from Harvard and worked as a producer for Sesame Street before co-founding beloved Brooklyn fashion brand Bird. After moving to the Hudson Valley, Marla launched her design firm. An amateur gardener passionate about flowers, she started the philanthropic venture Abloom in 2015 to donate farm flowers to local communities in need.
